Helyann Fimbres-Berdine is a Research Assistant for the CDDOM Disparities Biobank. As a type 2 diabetic she takes the endeavors of the CDDOM to heart and hopes to assist with all involved to meet the research initiative’s goals. She is proud to be part of the research team and the Center as a whole. Helyann is a Tucson native and a University of Arizona graduate in Theatre with an Art History minor. She is currently working on her Masters in History and hopes to work as an educator or as a heritage consultant.
