Eligibility Criteria for Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Applicants
- Must be current US citizens or permanent residents
- Must have selected DRTP Mentors and commit to perform research in DTRP’s mentor's lab
- Must commit to full-time training in diabetes and metabolism research
Additional Predoctoral Applicants*
- An established DRTP-related project
- Enrolled in a doctoral degree program
- 1st and 2nd year student in a doctoral program.
*MD/PhD students must have completed the 18-month didactic and passed Step 1 of the US Medical Licensing Exam.
