Eligibility Criteria for Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Applicants
1) US citizens or permanent residents
2) Cannot be simultaneously supported by this training grant and other federal grants
3) Selected DRTP Mentors and willing to work within's DRTP mentor's lab
4) Commitment to full-time training in diabetes and metabolism research
Additional Predoctoral Applicants*
1) An established DRTP-related project,
2) Enrolled in a doctoral degree program
3) 2nd or 3rd year student in a doctoral program.
* 3rd year doctoral student must have successfully completed their comprehensive exam.
*MD/PhD students must have completed the 18-month didactic and passed Step 1 of the US Medical Licensing Exam.
